Esposito takes reins of VT-3

Training Squadron Three (VT-3) "Red Knights" leadership conducted an in-flight ceremonial change of command over NAS Whiting Field, Fla., on July 9. Cmdr. Michael Gerhart relinquished command to Cmdr. John Esposito. The incoming commander was serving as executive officer of VT-3. Esposito graduated with Merit from the United States Naval Academy earning a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics and was commissioned an Ensign in May 2002. He reported for flight training in Pensacola, Fla., and earned his Wings of Gold in January 2005. (Source: NAS Whiting Field 07/09/20)
