Ripping rule book for F-22 upgrades
The Air Force and Lockheed Martin are rolling out a new set of software and hardware improvements for the F-22 Raptor using agile development, an iterative approach that the AF is applying to a growing number of programs. The first release will include Link 16 updates, with a handful of data messages and new hardware to transmit them, which is expected to begin flight testing in early 2020.
