Solar Impulse; Tap East wind farms

On the north end of the runway at Stennis International Airport a Florida construction company is completing the assembly of a hangar that will temporarily house a history-making aircraft arriving in early 2024. 

The aircraft, Solar Impulse 2, made the first unmanned around-the-world flight powered solely by energy from the sun

Its owner is Skydweller Aero, a startup aerospace company with an HQ in Oklahoma City and a design center in Spain. It is investing $15M in its new Mississippi location. New aerospace company investing in Stennis Airport operations. What to know (msn.com)  


120+ La. businesses can tap into East Coast wind farms

More than 120 Louisiana businesses can tap into the growing offshore wind industry taking shape on the East Coast, according to a new report.
