Plaquemines Port recently participated in a Port Grants Economics Roundtable Seminar by Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) and Louisiana’s Five Deepwater Ports hosted at the Port of South Louisiana.
Participants from across the state were able to learn from experts, including leaders from the DOTD, Maritime Administration (MARAD), US Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and more.
With historic infrastructure funding available, this program assists Louisiana economic development organizations with port and waterfront development. (Plaquemines Port 12/19/23)
