CNATT Keesler among REA winners

PENSACOLA, Fla. - Twelve Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT) sites have received the FY 2019 Manpower, Personnel, Training and Education Retention Excellence Award (REA). Eleven of the 12 CNATT locations are repeat winners FY-18: CNATT and Naval Air Technical Training Center in Pensacola, Fla.; CNATT units in Jacksonville, Fla.; Keesler AFB, Miss.; Norfolk, Va., North Island, Calif.; Oceana, Va.; Whidbey Island, Wash.; CNATT detachments in Atsugi, Japan; Eglin AFB, Fla.; Tinker AFB, Okla. Naval Aviation Schools Command in Pensacola was a first-time winner of the award. The REA recognizes commands for sustaining superior levels of military retention, recognizing superior accomplishment in those continuous retention efforts and mastery of executing the basics of sailor career development.
