Sen. Cochran visits Ingalls

U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran of Mississippi visited Pascagoula’s Ingalls Shipbuilding facility on Monday and toured the National Security Cutter Hamilton (WMSL 753). Ingalls employs thousands of Mississippi workers that build Coast Guard and Navy ships “essential to our national defense," Cochran said. Ingalls VP for programs management, Brian Cuccias, who takes over as president of Ingalls Shipbuilding on April 1, hosted the senator’s visit that included tours of four different classes of ships under construction.
