MS Silicon to invest $200M
Governor Phil Bryant and the Mississippi Development Authority announced a new silicon metal production company, Mississippi Silicon, will be investing $200 million dollars in the project and will create 200 jobs in the Tishomingo County. The new Mississippi-based facility will produce silicon metal for a broad range of industries in the U.S. including aluminum production, aerospace, automotive and chemical industries.
