Naval Air Station/Joint Reserve Base New Orleans’ Air Traffic Controller 3rd Class Jeanette Didway was among service members selected for the 2019 Mayor’s Community Service Award. The awards are presented by the Mayor’s Military Advisory Committee of New Orleans to a member of each branch of service that has given back to the community. Other recipients included Maj. Anissa Johnson of the Louisiana Army National Guard (LANG); Lt. John Fitzgerald of the Coast Guard; Senior Master Sgt.
