ARLINGTON, Va. - The Air Force awarded the Boeing Company a Sept. 27 contract worth up to $9.2B for the Air Force's new training aircraft. Gulf Coast Note: Columbus (Miss.) AFB uses the T-38 for joint specialized undergraduate pilot training. Air Combat Command, Air Force Materiel Command and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration also use the T-38A in various roles.
