Oxford firm earns hangar pact

Carothers Construction Inc. of Oxford, Miss., was awarded a $22,667,877 firm-fixed-price contract for renovation of three existing hangars at the Pittsburgh (Pa.) Air Reserve Station. Work will be performed in Coraopolis, Pa., with an estimated completion date of Sept. 30, 2018. FY 2017 Army operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $22,667,877 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers of Louisville, Ky., is the contracting activity.
