South Carolina’s main airport has never hosted regularly scheduled flights to or from overseas, but that will change in November. Senator International, a German freight-moving company, announced plans to fly cargo between Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport and Munich, Germany, two times a week beginning Nov. 5. The service will put the airport in elite company. There are only six Southeast airports to offer scheduled all-cargo flights to and from overseas destinations.
